TalkChief AI Voice Agents

AI voice agents that answer and place your calls.

Build an AI phone agent for your business line. It greets callers in your language, answers from your own knowledge, uses the tools you connect, books appointments in Google Calendar and hands the call to a person when needed.

What the app does

Everything a phone agent needs, in one workspace.

Inbound agents

Answer calls on your TalkChief lines and extensions, with a greeting, persona and language you set.

Outbound campaigns

Call lists of contacts inside the calling windows you choose.

Knowledge & tools

Answer from your documents, call your business APIs and connectors, send emails and transfer to your team.

Call reports

Review every call with its transcript, the actions the agent took, the outcome and the charge.

Google Calendar integration

Let callers book, move and cancel appointments by phone.

An admin connects Google Calendar under Tools & APIs, signs in with Google, approves access and picks one calendar. Each agent is then switched on individually. During a call the agent checks free time, creates the appointment the caller asks for, moves it or cancels it, and the change appears in Google Calendar straight away.

  • Only the one calendar the admin picks is used
  • Appointments are booked in that calendar’s time zone
  • Cancelling always asks the caller to confirm first
  • Disconnect any time: access is revoked and the stored token deleted
How TalkChief uses Google data

Used only to serve the caller.

Calendar data is read from Google during a call only to answer the caller and carry out the booking they ask for. TalkChief does not use Google user data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not use it to train AI models.

Full details, including what is stored, how long, and how to delete it, are in section 12 of our Privacy Policy. TalkChief’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

FAQ

AI Voice Agents FAQs.

What is TalkChief AI Voice Agents?
TalkChief AI Voice Agents is the part of TalkChief where a business builds AI phone agents. An agent answers inbound calls on a TalkChief line or places outbound campaign calls, speaks with the caller in the configured language, answers from the business’s own knowledge, uses the tools the business has connected, and can transfer the call to a person. Every call appears in Call reports with its transcript, outcome and charge.
Who uses it?
TalkChief business customers. Admins sign in at agents.talkchief.io with their TalkChief account to build agents and connect tools. Callers simply phone the business; they never sign in.
What does the Google Calendar integration do?
A business admin connects one Google account and chooses one calendar. Agents the admin switches on can then find events, check free time, and create, move or cancel events on that calendar when a caller asks during a call. Cancelling asks the caller to confirm first. Bookings use the calendar’s own time zone.
Which Google permissions does it request, and why?
Two: “See the list of Google calendars you’re subscribed to” (calendar.calendarlist.readonly), used only on the settings page so the admin can pick a calendar and so TalkChief knows its time zone; and “View and edit events on all your calendars” (calendar.events), used only on the one calendar the admin picked, to read, create, move and cancel events that callers ask for.
What Google data does TalkChief keep?
TalkChief keeps the encrypted OAuth refresh token, the connected Google account’s address, and the chosen calendar’s ID, name and time zone. During a call it reads events from Google to answer the caller; it does not keep a separate copy of your calendar. It stores the Google ID of each event an agent creates, a one-way hash of event IDs the agent looked up (so it only changes events the caller asked about), and the call transcript, which can include what the agent said about an event.
How do I disconnect Google Calendar?
In agents.talkchief.io open Tools & APIs → Google Calendar and click Disconnect. TalkChief revokes its access with Google and deletes the stored token and calendar settings. You can also remove TalkChief at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
